Large rabbits will usually comfortably fit inside cages that are at least 30-in long and 36-in wide while small rabbits will fit inside cages and hutches that are at least 24-in long and 30-in wide. Indoor Rabbit Housing – Indoor rabbit housing firstly comes with the benefit of easy bonding with your rabbit. The next benefit is that indoor housed rabbits have a higher life expectancy. It’s said that indoor housed rabbits can have a 10-year life span and outdoor housed rabbits have a 2-year life span.

Outdoor Rabbit Housing – The one thing to know about outdoor rabbit housing is that you need to make sure that the rabbit is able to regulate its temperature. That’s why the hutch or cage should be insulated. At least the walls shouldn’t look like they let out the air. Keeping Rabbits Healthy – The number one problem people run into when becoming bunny owners is that their rabbits often suffer feet infections.
